We have moved to Kersey, Colorado. Our home town was Rawlins,Wyoming. We have been rasing Oberhasli goats since 1998. We had other breeds off and on since 1985. In our family there is John, Barbie and James. We have 2 border collies, 1 mutt 3 lab cross (which adopted us after getting home from Nationals this year 2002) and a cat.

The does are fed Alfalfa hay and 16 % custom made Goat grain. Supplements are fed as needed. We do give free choice mineral. Does are Vaccinated four to six weeks prior to due date, and boosters are given yearly or when needed. Kids are started on hay as soon as they will nibble on it and medicated grain beofre weaning. We practice CAE prevention, but occasional kids maybe raised on their CAE negative DAMs. All bucks are raised on Dam unless reserved or there is an interest on that bloodline.

We do milk test every month, except the last year and this year due to time. But the does without milking stars will be put on a one day test this year. We will get back on next year(2007).
Our kids will be for sale on a first come, first serve basis. We ask for a $100 deposit to reserve the kid of your choice. We reserve the right to not offer a kid for sale after it is born. Any bucks that are sold we reserve the right to recieve 10 straws back on any buck sold for the cost of collection. Animals sold as reedig animals will be replaced if proven to be non-breeders. A veterinarian's letter stating this fact must be recieved prior to any exchange.

We do plan on selling first freshering does every year inorder to keep our herd at a mangable size.

Some of the uses from our goats are milk soap and milk fudge. We do sell goats and soap.

We have recently purchased purebred Oberhasli from Tommy Garrison, so please check with us later next spring on kids from the purebred does and bucks. And we bought 2004 spotlight sale doe which is also a purebred.

We have also increased our Nigerian Dwarf herd from the help of Debbie Gesick, thanks, we will have milkers and kids available for sale later on.
